Senior Associate - Accounts Payable

This role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions, ensuring compliance with Shell's standards and guidelines.

  • Process accounts payable transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Verify invoices and ensure they are accurately posted
  • Run required accounts reconciliations and advise on necessary adjustments
  • Understand and account for withholding tax, VAT, and CIT
  • Collate and input data with high accuracy and in accordance with Service Level Agreements

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant accounting environment
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of accounting controls and SAP accounting systems
  • Language requirement: Mandarin and English (both oral and written)
  • Economic, Accounting, or Finance University Degree/qualifications or equivalent courses with experience
