The Opportunity:

Are you a detail-driven, organized professional looking to make an impact in healthcare? Do you love ensuring everything is accurate and compliant? We're seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you'll support our US-based healthcare client by managing essential credentialing processes with health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and more. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure healthcare providers are credentialed promptly and accurately, so they can focus on what matters most - caring for patients

This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handle initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and maintain provider enrollment with health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payersMaintain up-to-date provider information in databases (CAQH, PECOS) and manage credentialing renewals proactivelyWork closely with our recruitment agency's healthcare clients, internal teams, and payers to resolve credentialing issuesAssist with internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and reportsTo succeed in this role you will need:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMinimum 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting or related field
Proven experience with credentialing software (CAQH, PECOS), payer processes, and compliance standards like HIPAA, NCQA, JCAHOProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with credentialing databases such as VeriFide, Kareo, PeCOS etc will be a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong critical thinking and customer service skillsService Fee:

Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

Hours:

US Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 9am to 5pm
