Responsibilities

The Professional Development Trainer plays a crucial role in empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential. He/she is a catalyst for growth, guiding learners through workshops, programs and initiatives that enhance skills, knowledge, and performance. He/She is responsible for creating, developing, implementing, and conducting training and development programs for organizations and/or businesses. This entails assessing the needs of an organization, and then developing custom training programs that take place in training facilities or platforms suited for the organization. The role organizes or delivers training sessions using lectures, group discussions, team exercises, hands-on examples, and other formats and is responsible for liaising and reporting training activities to Google.
This role reports to the acting Training Director. Ultimately, the Professional Development Trainer should be able to increase Workspace adoption and develop relevant programs or training for QSR clients.
The key outcomes include:

Identify organizational and individual training needs for QSR and it's clients
- Creating engaging and insightful learning materials, including presentations, activities, case studies, and simulations
- Facilitating and conducting workshops, webinars and methods of teaching methodologies
- Developing and implementing assessments to measure training effectiveness and learner progress
- Identifying future programs relevant to the adoption of Workspace
- Staying updated on emerging trends, best practices, and relevant industry advancements
- Supporting the sales team by conducting presentations and assisting in the development of marketing activities

Training Design & Evaluation

Create instructional design, training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials
- Conduct training programs as needed by both QSR and QSR's clients
- Review training materials from a variety of sources and choose appropriate materials and evaluate program outcomes
- Create assessment or evaluation exams for training programs conducted
- Create, implement and submit assessment reports on trainings conducted to clients
Program Delivery
- Submit summary reports of training conducted to Google for training conducted every year
- Submit MDF to Google as needed
- Participate in Google workshops, events and online training
Revenue Growth
- Identify products and services that would appeal to clients
- Conduct effective and professional presentations on QSR products and services
- Assist in developing marketing activities such as MDF
- Oversee social media posts in Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
Client Relationships
- Building rapport with learners, stakeholders and organizational leaders.

Providing ongoing support and guidance to trainees beyond formal training sessions
- Efficient communication with teams that impact client service delivery

Interdepartmental Support
- Perform project management tasks such as planning, scheduling and managing training projects within budget and deadline constraints. - Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors/partners to ensure seamless program execution
- Monitoring and accounting for Google vouchers used
- Manage and create content for social media account

Qualifications


• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Education, or any related field


• Proficient in Google Products and Services (Google sheets, Google docs)


• Preferable has 1-2 years of relevant experience


• Can do Instructional Design


• Can do assessment


• Can do workshops (corporate and educational)


• Willing to travel


• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions, and management skills


• Team building


• Excellent leadership


• Strong project management skills with the ability to assist in supervising multiple projects


• Must have experience as a trainer


• Certification from talent and training associations a plus


• Fantastic organizational and time management skills


• Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs, or related field, information technology
