Senior Manager, BPO Management

This position reports into Head of Operations & Enablement and is based in Paranaque, Philippines

The Senior Manager, BPO Management is responsible for assisting in the development and leading the implementation of a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) strategy. This person will lead the BPO partner relationships and ensure that the BPOs are adhering to their contracts. The Senior Manager will work closely with the global functional owners (i.e. HR, Procurement, Finance, etc.) and other internal stakeholders to ensure their needs are being met and remediate any issues.

This person is responsible for ensuring a strong governance program is in place and followed to optimize value from the BPO relationships and that all parties fulfill their contractual, service performance and financial obligations. The Senior Manager will lead a team that ensures day-to-day functions such as PO/invoice management, SLA reporting, etc. are happening in accordance with the governance plan. The Senior Manager will also lead contract negotiations from the business standpoint and liaise between the internal functional owner and procurement.

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the strategy development on a central BPO Strategy.
  • Execute the strategy.
  • Interact at a senior and operational level with internal stakeholders and BPO partners.
  • Ensure that resources are in place and plans are developed and executed to achieve agreed upon goals and strategies.
  • Provide guidance, oversight and coaching for negotiating teams and/or acts as the primary negotiator with Procurement for the largest and most complex BPO partners.
  • Provide oversight and facilitates resolution for all escalated service level, contract and compliance issues.
  • Ensures the BPO management team does the same for lower-level issues.
  • Support contract and financial management activities directly with Finance and Functional owners.
  • Build alignment with multiple stakeholder groups to ensure diligent review and approval of all significant projects undertaken by BPO partners.
  • Responsible for ensuring BPO partners are compliant with internal and external policies and regulations.
  • Lead a team and ensure growth and advancement of individuals. Also, perform all reviews and other people leader tasks.
  • Ensure development of consistent and standardized practices, procedures, and other materials.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts
  • Manage special projects as needed.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic supplier management
  • Demonstrated excellence with supplier management and related skills, including senior-level relationship building, commercial negotiations, service level tracking and improvement, financial management, supplier contracting, and business continuity planning
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in leading / managing others
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with proven results in financial management and strategic terms
  • Proven leadership, including demonstrated ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups without explicit authority
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and complex global environment, including substantial flexibility to accommodate working hours in multiple regions
  • Passion and ability to shape the BPO strategy and drive governance capability to be top quartile in industry
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English language
  • People management experience including passion to help direct reports grow and excel

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Project management certification preferred
  • Background in or knowledge of core Global Business Services functions
  • Business case preparation and presentation to Executive-level audiences
  • Financial management experience, including budget oversight and target attainment
