We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to lead the financial operations for our esteemed clients.

As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate closely with clients and colleagues to offer expert financial guidance.

Building strong relationships with clients, shareholders, and stakeholders will be key to your success.

About the role

  • Manage monthly accruals, provisions and reconciliations
  • Manage month-end process including the completion of the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support AR/AP functions
  • Manage fixed asset registers
  • Processing of payroll
  • Preparing and processing quarterly superannuation lodgements
  • Preparation and filing of business and instalment activity statements
  • Manage payroll tax and workcover registrations
  • Liaise with external accountants for preparation of year end financial statements and tax returns
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process and other ad-hoc tasks, supporting internal departments
  • Reconciliation monthly of BAS liabilities and preparation of all entities Draft BAS for external CPA review
  • Full reconciliation of intercompany loans between 10 companies on a monthly basis
About You

You must have:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in Australian Tax & Accounting experience
  • CA/CPA certification or a Master's in Accounting
  • Experience in preparation of BAS for more than one Australian entity essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs
