The purpose of this role is to support client by overseeing general accounting operations by managing and verifying financial transactions. In addition, the resource will also ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks.

1. Assist our clients with and oversee Staff Accounts with the following:
Monthly financial closings
Assistance with accounting procedures
Review of back office and accounting staff work
Assessment and improvement of financial processes and controls
2. Prepare and review financial statements including disclosures for audit, review and compilation engagements
3. Assume responsibility of the efficiency performance for engagements
4. Develop and maintain client relationships
5. Prepare corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns
6. Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data"

Job Qualifications:

Must have at least 3 years experience as an Accountant for Public Accounting in any of the Top Accounting firms in the country
Must be a CPA
Working knowledge in GAAP, IFRS and Statutory Accounting Principles
Leadership, training and mentoring skills
Knowledge in tax provisions and corporate taxes is a plus
