Position Summary:


A CAD CAM Programmer is responsible for creating and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine programs to manufacture parts and products from raw materials using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software.

This role involves translating design blueprints into instructions for precision machinery, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in the production process.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to produce components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Determine appropriate tooling and cutting methods for various materials to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Simulation and Testing:

Perform simulations of CNC programs to verify tool paths and make necessary adjustments to avoid collisions and ensure precision.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs, tooling instructions, and setup sheets for future reference.
Monitor and inspect the machining process to ensure the final product meets design specifications and quality standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
