This is a full-time role, Mondays to Fridays, on a Mid-shift schedule.

This is an office-based position in central Cebu City.

The expected start date is June 2024.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER AND TEST ENGINEER is a critical role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through advanced testing methodologies. This role involves leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automated testing and a strong commitment to quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for constructing and managing the regression test framework and infrastructure.
  • Tasked with specifying and organizing test cases to ensure comprehensive code coverage.
  • Guide junior test engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Utilize bug tracking tools to log, manage, and follow up on defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation in testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in Software QA Testing.
  • Proficient in C# and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Thorough understanding of common web technologies and hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Good analytical thinking and has the potential to become a No-Code platform expert.
  • Able to see the big picture and create a long-term strategy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal & written English and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and/or team members effectively.
