  • The Design Officer prepares the architectural drawings for projects of the real estate company, based on specifications and requirements provided by the Design Head.
  • The position is both a technical and creative role requiring extensive familiarity with design principles, computer-aided drafting technologies and building codes, as well as the ability to introduce fresh and innovative ideas to the project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Architect License preferred.
  • 3-5 years' work experience in Architectural practice.
  • Experience in a real estate company is a plus, but is not required.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided drafting technologies.
  • Familiarity with Building Codes (National Building Code, BP220, PD957).
  • Highly Creative
  • Organized and methodical with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Good judgement and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate results of analyses.
  • Must possess a positive attitude, pro-active, self-motivated, ability to perform and fulfill the work with minimal supervision, and exercise flexibility where necessary to complete the job.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Rendering and 3D modelling Software
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Projects.
