Job Summary

The Risk Data Architecture Officer is responsible for the production, maintenance, and enhancement of systems under Risk Data Architecture. He/She is also responsible to produce necessary risk reports and risk analysis, with focus on the correctness of risk data. Performs other tasks assigned to him/her that will support RMO's objectives

Duties & Responsibilities

Risk Systems Operationalization - Prepares the procedures and guidelin es for the operationalization of risk systems, as part of change management. Performs impact assessment and updates existing procedures and guidelines, given the promotion of risk systems and system enhancements to production . Prepares documents for special projects, such as those required by the BSP, which utilize data from the risk systems. Perform other tasks that will support the RMO's objectives, also as required by Senior Management and internal customers. Prepare Risk Assessment documents and SAR documents (JFSAS, FGARS, ARMT, etc.). Coordinate with different systems and data owners of the various source applications of the Bank, as needed.

Risk Data Governance -Maintains accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data elements by ensuring correctness of data stored within and generated from risk systems during project implementation. Understands business and transformation rules employed to derive data elements and data aggregations. Determines data inconsistencies and the different data scenarios generated from source systems and provides data validation and correction measures for critical data elements within risk systems.

3.3 Risk Systems Maintenance – Provide secondary/backup support for tasks related to external files preparation and aid RDA Staff in coordinating with the business units providing the files. Initiate data build-up and data clean-up activities as needed.

3.4 Risk Systems Production Support – Monitor the execution of BAU tasks and resolution of production issues. Participate in systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements.

3 .5 Risk Data Servicing – Generate data and/or reports that will support RMO's objectives, also as required by Senior Management and internal customers.

3.6 Management and maintenance of the following risk systems and performs Checker function for access management and data management as applicable.
  • Credit Limits System
  • Negative Data Bank (NDB) / Enterprise NDB (ENDB) Plus
  • Credit Information System
  • Other risk systems that may be identified as priorities by the Chief Risk Officer

Skills & Qualifications

  • College graduate, preferably with a degree in: BS Finance, Economics, Management, Decision Sciences, or Information Technology.
  • Preferably with graduate units in MS Finance/Risk Management/Financial Engineering, or MBA.
  • At least three (3) years relevant work experience in banking and/or financial risk management/analytics (credit, market, or operational risk support functions).
