Position Title:
On-the-Job Trainee (OJT) – Management Information Systems (MIS)

Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic college student with a keen interest in Management Information Systems (MIS) to join our team as an On-the-Job Trainee (OJT).

This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and hands-on exposure to various aspects of MIS within a professional work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Systems Analysis and Design Support:

Assist the MIS team in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and designing solutions to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.


Database Management:

Participate in database management activities, including data entry, data cleaning, data validation, and database maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.


Software Development Assistance:

Support software development projects by assisting with coding, testing, debugging, and documentation tasks under the guidance of experienced developers.


User Support and Training:

Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and assist in the development and delivery of training materials and user manuals for new systems and applications.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

Help in analyzing data using MIS tools and techniques, generating reports, and presenting findings to support decision-making processes within the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in MIS and a desire to gain practical experience in the field.
  • Basic knowledge of database concepts, programming languages, and software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
