Position Title:
Accounting On-the-Job Trainee (OJT)

Job Description:


We are seeking a dedicated and motivated college student with a passion for accounting to join our team as an On-the-Job Trainee (OJT).

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and valuable insights into the field of accounting while working alongside experienced professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Financial Reporting:
Support the accounting team in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Data Entry and Bookkeeping:

Assist in data entry tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts, under the guidance of senior staff members.


Audit Support:
Participate in audit preparations and procedures, including gathering documentation, conducting internal audits, and assisting external auditors as needed.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Aid in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by collecting and analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and assisting in the development of financial projections.


Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing documents, organizing records, and performing other clerical tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting and gaining practical experience in the field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and development.
