Job Description:

The Technical Coordinator will work closely with the field technicians and customers to provide technical support and coordination for our U.S. client's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network technologies and be able to coordinate with multiple teams to ensure the effective delivery of network & technical services.

Technical Capability - Requires a strong set of technical skills across networking technologies,

LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and cabling amongst others, and you will ideally be Cisco certified.

Process - Creating and documenting technical processes, ensuring that processes are followed, and

identifying areas for process improvement.

Service Levels - Ensuring that technical systems are functioning correctly and resolving technical.

Project Work - Collaborating with project teams to ensure technical requirements are met,

Problem-Solving -Troubleshooting and resolving issues that customers may be facing. Engages with

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in 1st/2nd line support roles with user and system support experience and the
  • ability to effectively self-manage time and prioritize support tickets based on the type and severity of the reported incident.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting routers, and Cisco switches with knowledge and understanding of network best practices. Cisco CCNA certification is desirable.
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of the network infrastructure and ensure that all stakeholders have access to it.
  • Have a successful track record of participating in small projects and working with third parties to

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in network support or technical coordination.
  • Solid understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Cisco Switches, Routers, and network cabling.
  • Must be willing and flexible with shifting work schedules and rest days as well as working overtime as required.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Office 365 Suite including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word & Excel.
  • Cisco CCNA certification would be an added advantage to performing this role. Candidate must be willing to gain this certification to receive promotion opportunities.
