VP, Information Security

The VP, Information Security will lead and champion all activities and initiative related to our program, the availability, integrity, and confidentiality in compliance with the organization's information security policies.

This person is a Business Partner to the organization, leading security architecture and engineering, vulnerability management, program management, security operations center, governance, risk, and compliance.

As VP, Cybersecurity you will be overseeing the teams that support all affiliated companies' and are working to identify and safeguard our organization from all known and developing security threats, security weaknesses, software bugs and exploits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • · Lead the company's cybersecurity strategic execution of a risk-based cybersecurity program to protect information assets and brand reputation.
  • · Lead enterprise cybersecurity teams and people development. Responsible for leading inclusively, coaching, mentoring, retaining, developing and attracting top security talent.
  • · Defend the company's data security and information against threats.
  • · Develop organization-wide cybersecurity communications. Create appropriate awareness of relevant threats, best practices and roadmap to mitigate these risks.
  • · Prepare the company as a whole for potential breaches, so that we are ready and capable of handling incidents that may occur.
  • · Lead incident responses with appropriate executive communication, peer collaboration, and transparency to end the company in the best possible outcome.
  • · Ensure cybersecurity leadership team is appropriately apprised of trends, new risks, and strategies.
  • · Lead security operations to assure real-time threats and triaging.
  • · Partner across technology leaders and business leaders to support organizational enrollment and executive of security programs.
  • · Partner with enterprise asset protection to build a holistic strategy around implementing modern asset protection capabilities in support of protecting all assets in DC's, cloud, and corporate offices.
  • · Leads and be responsible for establishing a comprehensive technology resiliency program aimed at providing business continuity during crisis and catastrophic failures.
  • The ideal candidate will posse skills in the following areas:
  • · Leadership, technical background, pragmatic problem solving, collaboration across multiple business organization with different use cases and requirements.

Position Requirements:

  • ·Technical bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • · 3 – 5-years' experience within information security leadership.
  • · Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
  • · Proficient in writing and reading English
  • · Detail oriented and ability to focus on deep level of security issues
  • · Ability to work well on a collaborative team and influence others without direct authority

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), or PCI Internal Security Assessor (ISA), CompTIA Security+ one or more of these certifications are preferable.
  • Master's Degree in a technical field
  • Experience in Computer Software and/or Financial Institution operations and environment.
  • 5years experience with PCI DSS Work
  • Knowledgeable of ISO27001 or SOC/2
  • Two to three years' project management experience is highly desired; PM certification is a plus.
