Clinical Psychologist

We are looking for a compassionate part time in-house clinical psychologist to assist us in making assessments and identifying a wide variety of disorders among employee-patients, and formulating suitable treatments as deemed fit. The in-house clinical psychologist will employ a range of methods to assess patient/clients' issues. The clinical psychologist will utilize various treatment strategies, such as behavior modification and stress reduction therapy and will continuously measure the success of treatment programs, and make appropriate changes when necessary.

He/she is required to provide psychological services onsite 4-5 hours per day 3-5 days per week and amenable to respond through teleconsultation of urgent psychological cases 24/7.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the Clinical Psychologist (Retainer) position through June 09, 202 4 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Making assessments and interpretations based on biopsychosocial evaluations, psychometric tests, semi-structured interviews, therapy sessions, and neuropsychological assessments. With expertise in prevailing evidence-based protocols.
• Collaborating with the CVX clinic, EAP vendor and other healthcare providers to evaluate the medical and physical condition of clients.
• Assist Chevron clinicians in the Fitness for Duty assessments particularly when assessing individuals with mental health conditions providing insights on restrictions and limitations as well as reviewing accommodation requirements.
• Formulating and creating personalized interventions, treatments, and management plans for clients.
• Assessing clients' risk, considering their mental health and social needs when performing interventions.
• Perform grief counseling whenever needed.
• Interacting with clients and other parties regarding performing interventions.
• Employing various treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behavior modification, stress reduction therapy, and psychodrama.
• Measuring the effectiveness of psychological interventions and implementing changes where required.
• Ensuring the maintenance and safe storage of accurate program and client records, and all other pertinent documents through the EMR system.
• Maintaining confidentiality of clients' treatment and records in accordance with HIPAA. Willing to be trained and certified under the HIPAA requirements.
• Championing Psychological safety and Mental Health in the organization.
• Performing Mental Health lectures, group psychological debriefing and crisis management interventions.
• Willing to travel to other CVX locations in the Philippines to provide Psychological services like stress debriefing sessions (Travel and accommodation cost will be shouldered by the company).

Other function may include the following:

• Assist in developing "behavior modification" strategies to improve workforce health.
• Provide support to HR staffing in recruitment screening strategies , HRBP with the Performance Improvement Process PIP and help further develop retention strategy of the business.
• Extend his/her professional services to dependents as needed.
• Provide support to the diversity groups particularly with ENABLE when requested.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a Professional Regulatory Commission license/certification as Clinical Psychologist with the right to practice in the Philippines.
• Post graduate degree in Psychology.
• With at least 2-3 years of clinical experience. Proficient with planning and performing psychological interventions.
• Proficient with psychological therapies, risk assessment, training, and supervision.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications like Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams, Excel etc. is required.
• Flexibility in doing temporary shiftwork schedule (if needed)

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:

Selected candidate will work in the Philippines under the local payroll system and benefits.
