Stolt Tankers a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is a specialist in transporting bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum products, vegetable oils, biofuels, and oleochemicals. What you will be doing

We are looking for a (Technical) Senior Business Application Consultant/System Engineer to join the high-performing team looking after business applications. We are looking for a talented candidate with ambition, drive, and potential to join the Stolt Tankers Business Technology and Innovation department. You will work together with a team that is responsible for a significantly scaled and diverse IT application landscape that supports a 24 x 7 global Tankers business. You will have the opportunity to work with all levels and departments of the Tankers business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for applications by addressing tickets.
  • Troubleshoots simple to complex issues as reported by end users.
  • Investigating and capturing relevant information so that issues raised via tickets can be resolved.
  • Translate technical information and communicate it to end users, provide end-user support and relevant instruction.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open cases at one time.
  • Perform, review, document, and provide feedback to teammates on application tests.
  • Liaise with key business stakeholders to maintain an open dialogue on issues and solution progress.
  • Manages workload, demonstrates initiative, and prioritizes accomplishing tasks within agreed timeframes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge in technology areas such as SQL, .NET, API's
  • Experience working, testing, and deploying (ERP) systems and literate with MS Office Applications.
  • Independent and innovative problem-solving skills with a curiosity to learn, detail-oriented, and accurate.
  • Results-oriented, strong ethics, ambitious, passionate about customer service, and highly motivated to have a career and not just a "job".
  • Able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly and manage work relationships respectfully.
