BUSINESS SUMMARY

ABS-CBN Music is a Line of Business (LOB) under ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. (AFPI). The ABS-CBN Music Group is engaged in the business of music content production, marketing and promotions, including allied businesses such as music publishing and music distribution, talent management and events organization. The Group's activities revolve around these brands: Music Labels (Star Music, Tarsier Records, Star Pop, DNA Music, and other sub-labels), MOR Entertainment and OneMusicPH.

ABS-CBN Music also provides music servicing and copyright clearance services primarily to other business units of the ABS-CBN group. Complementary to this business is the management of artists through the Music Management Group and the creation, mounting and line production of events with ABS-CBN Events. The Company also produces commissioned recordings for films and television shows, commercial advertisements, and events for brands and other clients. The Company also controls a valuable music publishing and sound recording catalogue of iconic Filipino hit songs which covers more than half a century. These are licensed to third parties for various usages, including theme songs in TV shows and films, commercial advertisements, and recordings.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitors all ongoing projects including but not limited to albums, singles, collaborations,
  • videos, content, offers, licensing deals, etc.) related to AMI releases or artists.
  • Provides assistance in the completion of logistical needs for the successful releases of AMI
  • songs and other events, such as the Music Camp 2.
  • Monitors and maintains Masterfile for ABS-CBN Music International projects, artists and releases
    • progress
    • deadlines
    • deliverables and requirements
    • contracts and any other items pertinent to relevant projects
  • Assists in the preparation of project materials for presentation to management.
  • Coordinates and updates team on incoming offers, inquiries or other important communiques regarding AMI projects, artists and releases
  • Assists in booking flights and accommodations and managing itinerary for oversees work (recording, performance, promotion, etc.)
  • Collects necessary information for the facilitation of payments and completion of contracts.
  • Maintains and updates masterlist ("Rolodex") of all pertinent AMI contacts including but not limited to producers, writers, directors, marketing teams, legal groups, distributors, licensors, publishers, etc.
  • Ensures completion and delivery of deliverables, contracts and other requirements of all ongoing AMI projects
  • Monitors end-to-end payment processing (vendor creation to payment receipt) of the following:
    • suppliers
    • producers
  • Attends to documentation and administrative requirements as part of the completion of the services for AMI activities
  • May be assigned to render assistance and work, as may be requested from time to time.
