Record to Report- Intercompany Accountant

RtR Intercompany Accountant

Are you interested to apply for an RtR Intercompany Accountant that understands assigned Accounting activities performed in a Finance Shared Services entity?

What is the Job all about?

The job is responsible in supporting the Senior Accountant and records incoming and outgoing invoices accurately, reconciles Intercompany balances. Acts as gatekeeper for the assigned activities.

This role will be directly reporting to the Team Lead and to be based in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Your main responsibilities:

Operation

  • Understands the assigned accounting activities performed in FSS for the entity.
  • Support migration activities.
  • Posts Intercompany transactions on both sides.
  • Monitors pending Intercompany requests (either Sending or Receiving) and provides status updates to parties who will need to action such requests via Finance Service Now Tool
  • Performs cost recharges with the assigned entities within the Intercompany affiliates
  • Prepares accruals for recurring transactions.
  • Serve as Corporate hub for intercompany accounting, managing intercompany transactions, policies and communication and company-wide reconciliation of intercompany account activity.
  • Performs MEC and YEC activities, acts as owner of assigned processes.
  • Identifies, solves and follows up issues, if necessary, escalates to Senior Accountant
  • Participate in projects, support the implementation of findings and sustainability of achievements.
  • Prepares and posts in SAP all transactions associated with intercompany accounts during month-end Close.
  • Support the operation of the one finance team and Finance Delivery Model, participates in collaboration forums
  • Keeps contact with the affected stakeholders and key contact persons
  • Ensures "no surprises" environment, informs senior accountant about problems and changes.
  • Proactively interact with stakeholders to raise awareness of issues encountered along with any actions taken to support resolution.
  • Seeks for continuous improvement opportunities to enhance effective MEC, processes and increase the quality of service
  • Implements process improvements or process standardizations
  • Support projects related to assigned processes

Audit support

  • Supports audit processes during system/process audits (internal and external)

Your background:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years of Intercompany experience
  • SAP experience
  • Average Excel Skills
