WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US:

As a Senior IT Consultant - Azure Cloud & Infrastructure at SimCorp, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and global IT Operations team that is dedicated to delivering outstanding service worldwide. As a member of our server team, you will be responsible for servers & infrastructure, where you will work closely with team members located in other parts of the world.

The position is based in Manila, and you will be part of the Global IT team of +50 employees, 13 of whom are a part of the IT Operations team worldwide. If you are passionate about technology, have the desire to grow in your role, and have the drive to excel in a global environment, this could be the perfect role for you

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Azure infrastructure configuration and maintenance
• On-premises server configuration and maintenance
• On-premises hypervisor configuration and maintenance
• Participate in implementation tasks and projects
• Solve tickets (incidents and service requests) on a global scale
• Yearly budget input

WHAT WE VALUE:

• 3 years experience in a similar position
• Azure knowledge (Preferably with Certification AZ-104 & AZ-400)
• Automation knowledge - PowerShell, VB, C#, and Ansible
• On-premises server knowledge (HPE servers, OneView management)
• Hypervisor (VMWare preferably with a VCP Certification) and/or (Hyper-V preferably with a MCSA Certification)
• General knowledge of Microsoft Platforms, Citrix, VM-ware, Linux, etc.
• Be able to work independently and take initiative
• Have a high 'Sense of Urgency' and focus on prioritizing tasks
• Language skills: English level C1 both written & verbal. (European language scale - CEFR)
• Social and contributing to a good team spirit
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle incidents and service requests effectively
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest in technology
• A service-oriented and positive mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support and solutions
• Knowledge and experience of using ITSM tools, preferably Jira and Confluence
• ITIL Foundation or higher level of ITIL certification.
