What you'll do:

• Strategic Leadership, Project Management, and Business Development:
  o Lead complex projects in climate change adaptation, mitigation, and resilience, while identifying new business opportunities in these areas.
  o Manage and grow client relationships, understanding their needs to propose relevant climate resilience solutions.
  o Drive business development efforts by identifying market trends, potential clients, and opportunities for service expansion.
• Expertise in Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation:
  o Provide expert advice on climate change impacts and conduct vulnerability assessments.
  o Design and implement carbon reduction strategies and climate change adaptation plans tailored to client needs.
  o Develop innovative mitigation solutions, positioning the firm as a leader in climate change consultancy.
• Resilience Building, Risk Assessment, and Business Opportunities:
  o Conduct resilience audits for clients, emphasizing how resilience measures can enhance business continuity and open up new business avenues.
  o Develop resilience-building strategies that align with clients' long-term business goals.
  o Analyze market trends to guide clients in integrating climate resilience into their strategic planning.
• Stakeholder Engagement, Policy Advocacy, and Client Expansion:
  o Actively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and businesses, to expand the consultancy's network and influence in climate policy.
  o Lead advocacy efforts for climate policies, leveraging these initiatives to attract new clients and projects.
  o Organize and facilitate workshops and training sessions, using these platforms for networking and business development.
• Research, Analysis, and Business Intelligence:
  o Lead research efforts on the latest trends in climate change and resilience, using insights to develop new services and business models.
  o Analyze data to inform both strategy development for clients and business development strategies for the consultancy.
  o Monitor global climate models and leverage this knowledge to advise clients and guide business development efforts.
  
  • Communication, Reporting, and Client Relationship Management:
  o Deliver compelling presentations and reports to clients, showcasing the firm's expertise and building strong client relationships.
  o Translate complex climate data and strategies into business opportunities.
  o Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met and identifying upsell opportunities.
  

What we'll love about you:

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Sustainability, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in climate change consulting, with a strong focus on resilience, adaptation strategies, and business development.
• Demonstrated success in project management, team leadership, and business growth in the context of climate change consulting.
• Expertise in climate change science, resilience planning, and sustainable business practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to develop and nurture client relationships.
• Proficiency in climate modeling tools and business development software.
  Preferred Skills:
• Exceptional business acumen with strategic and innovative thinking capabilities.
• Robust networking and relationship-building skills, particularly in the context of business development.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools relevant to climate change, resilience, and business development
