Deputy Director of Project Management (Construction)

What you will do:

Deputy Project Director manages the entire development cycle from early stage, master planning, design procurement and construction across different disciplines for completion within an agreed timeframe, cost and specified quality by fostering team resiliency to meet challenges.

  • Review and update current Project Management Framework, governance practices and methodologies and roll out programs across different disciplines to achieve common goals.
  • Provide the day-to -day leadership for the team and advise mitigation measures in case of variance between actual and projected measurement in term of time/ cost/ quality etc.
  • Ensure best of class project management disciplines are being executed, and that consistent, effective communication plans are in place to all key team leader/ stakeholders.
  • Establish KPI's and schedule project targets for every team member.
  • Monitor time frame tally with funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing project;
  • Support Project Management best practices and provide the appropriate level of information capture, reporting, control, information sharing, management insight and build a learning culture of team across different disciplines and Ops.
  • Manage contracts' scope and implement change control procedures across the team to ensure that changes to deliveries or functionality handles coat and time effectively.
  • Develop the technical capability and expertise of the team by regular sharing of lessons learnt to help the team "Do the Things First Tiem Right" against abortive works.

What we need:

  • Degree in a relevant subject.
  • Corporate member of relevant professional institution.
  • Over 20 years of relevant experience in project management role within developers or contractors with proven track record in managing mid-large-scale projects from feasibility study, design & planning, to construction supervision and handover to operation.
  • Good management, planning, excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Tagalog.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, MS Office, AutoCAD, PDF and Microsoft Project.
