ICT Operations Manager

Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology)

Oversee, manage, be accountable for and own the operations activities of the ICT (Information Communication and Technology) Department. The ICT Oerations Manager works closely with the Chief Information Officer/Head of Corporate ICT in regards to staff, budgeting and future direction of ICT department and takes a management lead in ICT Specialist areas.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to support ICT Service Level Management, ICT Service Continuity Management, and ICT Configuration Management ensuing compliance with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles.
• Responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating ICT policies, and procedures throughout the company in accordance with the best practice and appropriate standards taking fully into account any legal requirements.
• Responsible for ICT performance against agreed targets
• Responsible for the development and the implementation of Service Management in accordance with ITIL.
• Reponsible for preparing budget forecasts in accordance with Finance requirements
• Required to manage the ICT Service Management to the ICT department and the company as a whole
• Provide strategic advice and develop roadmaps for the evolution of ICT Infrastructure and operations aligned with enterprise architecture and business objectives
• Lead and drive a continuous improvement program on processes , tools, and work practices of the ICT Operations Group
• Be operationally accountable for the services delivered MIESCOR and its subsidiaries
• Ensure the aggreement and respect of SLAs for the supported systems
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and service providers
• Ensure that security and business continuity concerns are adequately addressed in all systems and processes
• Compiles with the proper operating procedures of safety and health standard/regulation
• Supports and implements Environmental Management System with respect to thei job
• Adheres to Policies/Procedures, Employee Code of Ethics and Conduct, and Corporate Governance
• Protects intellectual property, company proprietary and confidential information

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any College degree
• Experience and track record in organizational change management and in driving maturity improvement programs in ICT operations management
• 5 years in same/related field
