QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in bookkeeping roles;
- Strong understanding of general accounting and preparation of financial reports, budget, forecast and analysis;
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Office: Excel, Word & PowerPoint;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams;
- Proficiency in accounting standards and regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- CPA Preferred but Optional;
- Proficiency in accounting software i.e. Quickbooks;
- Knowledge or experience working in construction or real estate.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for managing financial statements, bookkeeping tasks, accounting software, and journal entries;
- Receive, review and verify invoices for payment/ invoice processing and reconcile relevant documents;
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues;
- Monitors status of payables and send out, manage and monitor billing and collections;
- Produces weekly, monthly reports as needed and create timely financial records and reports;
- Create, update and manage budget, projections and cash flow.
