Continuous innovation and growth mean we are in search of a Senior Front End Engineer to join our talented team. Working with your team, you will develop, automate, maintain, monitor, secure, uplift, and scale our software.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Front End Lead

  • Develop high-quality and scalable web applications using ReactJS.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement intuitive user interfaces.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure high-quality and bug-free code.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Oversee code reviews and enforce best practices in coding and design.
  • Facilitate team meetings and stand-ups, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and across the development process.

Must-Have Work Experience

  • 7+ years of proven experience in React front-end development, designing and building highly scalable and distributed web applications.
  • 4+ years of proven experience developing mobile software using React Native from the ground up.
  • Worked in a large international SaaS business.

Must-Have Skills

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication with the ability to articulate complex technical information to peers.
  • Advocate engineering best practices such as CI/CD, clean code, Test Driven Development (TDD), Component Driven Development (CDD), and design patterns.
  • Strong experience in React fundamentals such as Virtual DOM, hooks, performance, component lifecycle, component-driven development, and state management.
  • Experience working with CSS libraries, such as Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, document request models, offline storage, and third-party libraries.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, from UI component testing to functional unit tests.
  • Experience with building highly testable components in isolation using tools such as Storybook.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX concepts and attention to detail.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for automating deployments and testing.
  • Experience working in an agile development team.
  • Technical Skills for Top-Tier React Native Developers:
    • Expertise in optimising mobile applications for maximum performance and scalability.
    • Deep understanding of mobile-specific design patterns and best practices.
    • Experience with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ).
    • Familiarity with mobile-specific debugging and profiling tools.
    • Strong knowledge of mobile application security best practices.
