Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

  • Oversee daily workflow/operations and schedule of the department
  • Lead negotiations on behalf of the team
  • Manage and oversee all sourcing and bidding activities under Procurement
  • Negotiate prices material, equipment, and services with vendors
  • Establish partner contracts and agreements with vendors
  • Identify and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirement
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as vendors
  • Monitors and evaluates contractual arrangements to make sure that vendors are complying with previously agreed upon terms and conditions.
  • Manage and monitor transactional procurement processes including international vendors and suppliers
  • Manage and monitor the booking, planning and scheduling of shipments for certain products, collaborating with supplier purchasing counterparts, ensuring timelines and required documents are timely and accurately complied with
  • Prepares and controls annual budget and overall resource management, forecasts requirements, and initiates cost-saving measures for the group

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's/College degree in Business Administration, or any equivalent course
  • At least 5 years work-related experience
  • Proficient in the use of SAP
  • Has people management and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

DKT Philippines was established in 1991 to promote family planning through social marketing. The first product launched was the Trust condom, which has since become the condom in the Philippines. Over the years, DKT Philippines has built a comprehensive portfolio of products with new condom lines (Trust, Premiere), pills (Trust Pill, Althea, Daphne and Charlize), and injectables (Depotrust, Lyndavel) and IUDs.

In 2005, DKT Philippines started POPSHOP, a social franchising network, developed to ensure that contraceptive products and services are available at the local level at an affordable price.

In 2012, DKT Philippines set a new affiliate, Health Sense Inc. It was established to maintain the network growth of POPSHOP franchisees in the country and to provide accessible, quality, and affordable family planning and health products.

In 2014, DKT Health was set as a commercial company due to the increase of transactions. DKT Philippines remains the NGO, non stock, non-profit company which adheres to the social advocacy and program for the Philippines.
