Job Description:
- In charge of all Accounting matters related to Cost, General, Budgeting, BOI, and BIR reports.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A. Major Duties
- Head the Accounting Section:
- Check and monitor all transactions involving both Cost and General Accounting.
- Supervise the Inventory Control and Product Costing by the Cost Accountant.
- Supervise bookkeeping and related schedules by the General Accountant.
- Financial Statements Preparation:
- Preparation of General Ledgers.
- Generate adjusted Trial Balance.
- Prepare Financial Statements.
- Auditing:
- Check and verify correctness and completeness of accounting documents.
- Conduct system audit every six months.
- Formulate audit findings in every Inventory Audit and provide recommendations.
- Develop appropriate accounting policies after each system audit.
- Budgeting:
- Disseminate budget systems and procedures to the concerned sections.
- Discuss the acceptability of figures submitted by each section.
- Gather data and formulate budgeted financial statements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Accounting Graduate.
- Minimum 3 years' Accounting experience.
- Experience in preparing FS, IS, TB, and Budget Reports.
- Familiarity with SEC, BOI, BIR, and other regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge in ISO 9001 standards.
- Cooperative, flexible, and available to work as needed.
- Good personality and proficient in English.
