About the role

The Tech Area Architect is critical to making this happen and will be responsible for

• Providing effective architectural solutions to key initiatives within Digital Banking Operations (DBO) domain. This involves predominantly working on multiple projects across multiple countries in international area of the domain.

• Providing architectural solutions to data center migration to Cloud

• Working in collaboration with other Tech Area Architects, Enterprise Architect, Head of IT of multiple countries, Infrastructure Architects to ensure that the solution is in alignment with the DBO Domain and Institutional strategy.

• Collaborating with engineers and architects of other domains based on the requirements.

• Preparing and maintaining effective solutions following standards and appropriate Architecture Governance process.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:


•8+ years of experience as Solution Architecture experience in Banking domain.

•Experience in applying architecture frameworks (like TOGAFF), architecture/design patterns and deployment patterns.

•Experience in development lifecycle using latest technologies (CI/CD pipeline, Micro service, Java, Cloud, databases)

•Hands on experience in cloud technologies (AWS), migration of applications from on-prem to cloud, integration of applications hosted on cloud with other systems

•Familiarity with computer networks and IT security management

•Exposure to integration technologies like KAFKA (any flavour) and APIs

•Experience in managing business/technology stakeholders and deliver outcome to the business

•Exposure to data modelling and industry canonical models.

•Strong understanding of the Technology Governance Model, Architectural standards & frameworks

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills, results focussed, attention to details and hands-on approach

•Ability to facilitate and influence decision making, good presentation and communication skills
