Food & Beverage Server

Job Summary:


The Food & Beverage Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining service experience to guests in timely, courteous and efficient manner.

This role involves taking orders, noting down of guest's allergies and preferences, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly, present menus and assist in recommending best selections. Answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients and pricing.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Delivers food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. Ensure that all orders are complete and correct before serving.
  • Monitor and manage tables efficiently, ensuring that guests' needs are met and tables are properly set, cleaned and maintained.
  • Present bills, accept payments, process credit card transactions, and make necessary changes are needed.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously, seeking assistance from supervisors when necessary.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area, including service stations, dining areas and back of the house areas.
  • Strictly follow the health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team, bartenders and other team members with respect and courtesy.
  • Actively participates in all training and development programs to improve service skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2 years Food & Beverage experience as a waitress or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and pays attention to details.
  • Able to stand prolonged periods, lifts and carry heavy trays, and performs physical tasks related to food service.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to company dress code standards.
  • Available to work on flexible shifts.
