Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the sophisticated process of planning, supervising, and organizing the operations of a business to bring better productivity and higher returns of the assigned business subsidiary.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for strategically planning daily operations, process streamlining and marketing plans Client Relationship Management

Provide excellent client relationship management by acting as the primary point of contact in addressing client's concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Should be able to manage client expectations and deliver on service level agreements (SLAs).

Streamline workflows and optimize processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Implement best practices and improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Conduct regular reviews and meetings with clients to discuss performance, issues, and potential enhancements.

Manage the team by recruiting, training, and supervising a team of employees to ensure they meet performance standards.

Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and implement professional development plans.

Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.

Ensure that all services are delivered to the highest quality standards .

Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits and reviews.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and client requirements.

Manage resources , including staff, technology, and budgets, to meet operational goals.

Plan and forecast resources to manage workload fluctuations.

Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Support the development of proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.

Participate in client presentations and negotiations to secure new contracts and expand existing ones.

Monitor financial performance by developing and managing the operational budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource allocation to improve financial outcomes.

Analyze financial data to make informed business decisions and adjustments.

Manage the various projects in planning, executing, and closing projects within set timelines and budgets. Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Coordinating cross-functional teams and resources to ensure successful project completion.

Accurate filing and record management of all pertinent documents submitted by subsidiary employees and contractors. Accurate and timely processing of the same in the databases. Effects any necessary update, as applicable.

Submit necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensure proper safekeeping and security of all classified and confidential information.

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management or any related course

At least 5 years of relevant outsourcing experience in a management level

Able to conceptualize and implement strategic business operations

Excellent leadership and critical thinking qualities
