The Supply Chain Management Head oversees every stage of the organization's supply chain, from purchasing of goods and services to final delivery. This involves all Procurement and Logistics activities of the company. They develop and monitor the company's supply chain strategy with the goal of improving productivity and efficiency and reducing costs while securing high quality material for the company. They will collaborate with both internal departments of the company and vendors to ensure all operations meet quality, cost, and safety standards. They will develop the Supply Chain Management process, policies, and guidelines of the company and ensure its compliance throughout the organization. They will also analyze operational performance, resolve issues, and provide reports to top management.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workflow/operations and schedule of Supply Chain Management
- Manage and oversee all sourcing and bidding activities under Procurement
- Negotiate prices material, equipment, and services with vendors
- Establish partner contracts and agreements with vendors
- Identify and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
- Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirement
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as vendors
- Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or framework agreements
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed
- Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the warehouses
- Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to ensure business operations
- Analyze current inventories and procedures
- Assist logistics process for sourcing of materials and equipment, inventory maintenance and storage, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
- Develop and manage Supply Chain Management process, policies and guidelines
- Ensure compliance of Supply Chain Management process, policies and guidelines
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors for Supply Chain Management
- Analyze data and processes and create innovative solutions
- Generate reports and present findings to upper management and other departments
- Hire, manage, and train Supply Chain Management Team
- Prepares and controls annual budget and overall resource management, forecasts requirements, and initiates cost-saving measures for the group
- Spearheads annual group planning and goal-setting, and maps out strategies optimizing business, service, financial and operational productivity
- Conducts feedback and annual appraisal to measure group and individual progress on targets and track career development of employees
- Ensures group compliance with company-wide Health and Safety protocols
- Partners with Human Resources for recruitment requirements, employee engagement, and talent development programs
Qualifications
Education, Licenses and Certificates:
- Graduate of a Bachelor's/College degree in Business Administration, Engineering or any equivalent course
- With 5-10 years of work experience in the same field
- Has a solid experience in people management and stakeholder management
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office operations (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Proficient in the use of SAP
- Has knowledge in Supply Chain Management field
- Has people management and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to visit to different warehouses (Laguna, Tarlac, etc)
