The Lead BA will assist in developing business analysis standards with sets of deliverable templates in a retrievable format. This will be particularly important for projects where business information is very wide and hard to acquire.

  • Given this, the Lead BA is expected to:
  • Research and identify key BA deliverables and evaluation process
  • Define process and templates
  • Define BA evaluation framework
  • Recommend migration plan
  • Define coaching requirements
  • Execute coaching, BA evaluation, transition activities
  • Specifically, the expected tasks to be performed by the Lead BA are, but not limited to, the following:

Task 1

Conduct elicitation, research, workshops, and interviews to understand and identify key BA deliverables

Expected Deliverable from Task 1

Workshop materials, Identified key business analysis deliverables, evaluation process

Task 2

Conduct workshops and interviews to define, design and document business analysis process and templates, evaluation framework

Expected Deliverable from Task 2

Workshop materials, documented business analysis process, standards, practices, documented BA templates, documented evaluation framework

Task 3

Recommend migration plan to transition to agreed business analysis process, standards, and templates

Expected Deliverable from Task 3

Workshop materials, Approved BA process, standards, and practices migration plan

Task 4

Define and execute coaching, evaluation and transition requirements and activities

Expected Deliverable from Task 4

Workshop materials, documented coaching, and training plan, trained ITD BAs based on coaching and mentoring sessions, documented BA evaluation framework, evaluated BA resources

  • Qualifications
  • The selected resource should have the following qualifications:
  • 10 years of solid business analysis experience.
  • 8 years' experience in designing and documenting business analysis standards and practices.
  • 8 years' experience in IT Team leadership.
  • 5 years' experience in designing and testing IT applications.
  • 5 years' experience in the banking / financial services sector.
  • Conversant on Project Management Life Cycle and Solutions Delivery Life Cycle.
  • Proven knowledge and experience on Agile Methodology and Waterfall Methodology.
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
