With a strong focus on auditing, reporting, compliance and taxation, this key role will partner closely with the Control & Accounting Senior Manager and Country Controller to support our business across Kantar Philippines and strict compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Associate Finance Manager

Mandaluyong City, Ortigas Center, Philippines

Requirements

  • Perform month end accounting and reporting activities aligning with IFRS, PFRS using Maconomy, OneStream, MS Excel and other process specific tools.
  • Pass journal entries for monthly basis for timely book close related to accruals and provisions Ensuring accurate accounting, controlling and reporting in Maconomy at all levels: GL, cost centre and revenues; monthly accruals postings.
  • Review, validate and update the accounting records, reporting and ensure those are follows the IFRS requirements.
  • To ensure that adequate visibility of all items in the P&L and Balance Sheet is provided to all collaborators and deliver vital management reports.
  • Coordination with internal and external auditors, as required.
  • Ensure the compliance of tax, legal and transfer pricing matters wherever applicable.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a CPA
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience with the same capacity
  • At least 1 year of working experience in audit
  • Able to work in a diverse and matrix organization
  • Able to maintain high confidentiality, tactful and discretion when dealing with people
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to collaborate optimally with collaborators
  • Able to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgements
  • Excellent digital literacy and proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work onsite when required
  • Knowledge in general accounting & financial reporting tasks
  • Knowledge in Maconomy & OneStream is an advantage
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
  • Understanding of month end activities and financial consolidation
