Trinity Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager who can be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate accounting records (assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses). Assist in the analysis and effective implementation of all accounting control policies and procedures. Reporting requirements with regulatory agencies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting procedural standards.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepared tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
  • Assist in providing schedules and responses to annual BIR audits and IC verification.
  • Regular reconciliation with collections on collection variances.
  • Assist in reconciliation with balances per book and system.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial reports and schedules.
  • Comply with all new statutory issuances, regulations, and rulings.
  • Other duties and projects assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of methods and practices used in accounting, BIR, SEC rules, laws, and compliance.
  • With analytical skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Minimum of at least one (1) year in a supervisor/managerial position
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Communicates effectively (both orally and in writing)
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance and results.
  • Detailed oriented and organized
  • Amenable to work onsite in Makati
