SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to the Head of PNB IBE. The successful candidate will supervise the overall operations and activities of the Digital Training and Support Department (DTSD); Undertakes and/or participates in the formulation, development of plans and programs for the department in coordination with the PNB IBE Head and Heads of business units; Authorizes and approves L&D related activities and correspondences of the department in accordance with the limits of the Manual of Signing Authority (MSA).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervises the Digital Training & Support Department.
  • Plans, directs, and reviews work activities and outputs of DTSD.
  • Designs, facilitates, and evaluates digital training programs for the employees.
  • Manages the training module of the HCMS (Human Capital Management System) and all learning management platforms/systems of the Bank.
  • Reviews work of subordinates and ensure the same conforms to established systems and procedures.
  • Reviews and evaluates performance of subordinates to determine areas of strength/weakness and introduces remedial/corrective measures to stimulate performance.
  • Oversees the delivery of administrative and financial management support needs of the Division, including but not limited to training administration, logistics, database management, preparation of reports and budget preparation.
  • Represents DTSD in meetings, conferences, conventions, court cases, etc. and participates in discussions or deliberations on Human Resource matters.
  • Signs office correspondence/memoranda and approves/countersigns related documents within authorized limit.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree related to the position
  • Knowledge and experience of at least 5 years that is related to the position
  • 10-12 years of cumulative banking experience with expertise in business administration, presentation skills, courseware/digital design, data analysis, project management, and financial management.
