Senior Cloud Support - with AWS EC2 - Hybrid Work Set Up - Rotational Sched

Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology)

  • He/She will troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents.
  • Interact with various internal IT support functions: Infrastructure, Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, external IT department and 3rd party vendors.
  • Work with Business Regulatory Support and other Support Teams to identify areas of development.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in AWS EC2 Support
  • Experience of supporting business critical front/mid office applications.
  • Good understanding of Amazon Web Services EC2.
  • Good understanding of Windows and Linux servers;
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to manage client communications and their expectations;
  • Take ownership and is personally accountable;
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and flexible;
  • Ability and appetite to develop new skills and understand new technology as required;
  • Knowledge of web servers: IIS / Apache Tomcat / Nginx
  • Knowledge of key technology: MarkLogic, XQuery, NoSQL, Ansible, Java, C#
  • Knowledge of Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, ServiceNow Experience of cloud technology: AWS or Azure;
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment - (Github, Nexus, Team City, CloudBees or Jenkins);

Regular/Direct/Permanent employment with the client

Hybrid work Set up (3 days onsite, 2 days offsite)
