SUMMARY

The Senior Bank Reconciliation Officer has been created in response to the increasing workload due to our global expansion. We are currently improving our systems to create autonomy and harmonize procedures globally to provide scalability. Given the mass of data and real time information requirements, it is imperative the systems and reporting are robust and up-to the minute. This position currently reports to the Head of Finance based in Melbourne.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reconciling daily bank accounts for multiple currencies and multiple entities Will be working on with Bank Reconciliations team and payment providers Requires troubleshooting in SQL queries Accurate data entry and managing a high volume of transactions daily Ensuring integrity of financial data by performing reconciliations of third-party payment provider accounts against our database Investigating and resolving reconciliation discrepancies and expediting issues as required Reconciling client money daily including client funds excess analysis Assisting with month-end closing procedures including Regulatory reporting requirements Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAssisting in liaising with external auditors Ad-hoc support to team members QUALIFICATIONSAt least 8-10 years of experience in Bank Reconciliations Blackline and D365 is nice to have Experience with SQL is preferred Has experience managing a team is a plus Degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant qualification Strong Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality in a high-volume environment Demonstrated ability to meet multiple competing deadlines by prioritising and managing time Ability to work under limited supervision and use initiative, can-do attitude and problem-solving skills to achieve goals Strong analytical skills and experience reconciling large quantity of data Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, written and numeracy skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels within the company Committed to ongoing learning & development Can start ASAP
