Jr. Events Specialist for NCR and South Luzon

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A. Trade Marketing

1. Coordinate and assist in the conceptualization and implementation of account specific and channel wide trade marketing programs in order to achieve account/channel strategies and grow the NC business.

Ø Assist in the execution of account and channel specific trade marketing programs such as merchandising & display programs, account sampling, Bus Terminal Selling, on-line selling etc.

Ø Assist in the communication and monitoring of account/channel specific activities thru the merchandising coordinators and merchandising team of assigned distributor.

Ø Execute regular trade checks alongside Merchandising Coordinators to ensure attainment of merchandising objectives and planned activities in trade.

Ø Coordinate support requirements needed to execute trade launch plan of new products/programs and new trade marketing campaign.

Ø Coordinate and implement systems and processes of powered coolers and ice chests and ensure effective management and maximum utilization of equipment.

Ø Know and familiarize with forthcoming in-store promotions of Key Accounts and discuss proposals regarding company's participation with assigned Sales counterpart and Trade Marketing supervisor.

Ø Prepare timely and accurate reports involving daily/weekly/monthly sales activities, as well as trade development, competitive activities and the like.

B. Merchandising

1. Implement and monitor implementation of merchandising standards & programs in order to promote product presence and awareness in trade.

Ø Implement account/channel specific merchandising standards and programs.

Ø Implement and monitor the distribution and installation of merchandising materials in trade.

Ø Monitor the proper utilization of product displays, merchandising materials, marketing equipment and merchandisers.

Ø Ensure that the company products for sale in the supermarket and other accounts and their branches within area of coverage are all in good condition.

Ø Check productivity of merchandisers, promo attendants, and casual personnel by advertising and promotion agencies in trade.

Ø Ensure that proper stock rotation, stock re-assignment and/or stock withdrawal are followed by merchandisers based on the guidelines set by the company.

Ø Conceptualize and recommend account/channel specific merchandising materials required in trade.

Ø Report to management stock inventory monitoring on a weekly basis.

Ø Tasked to lead in the orientation of product knowledge and merchandising standards for newly hired merchandisers of the distributor.

C. Financial Resource & Cost Management

1. Monitor and control trade marketing expenses aligned with the approved budgets and programs set by the company.

Ø Monitor Implement and ensure adherence to company approval matrix and required operating systems.

Ø Implement systems and processes to ensure proper monitoring of trade spend.

Ø Conduct back checks to ensure compliance to policies and agreed commitments.

Ø Assist in the preparation, consolidation and monitoring of all approved Sales or Marketing Funds based on set guidelines.

D. Market Intelligence

1. Keep self well informed on Market Trends & Dynamics thru updated consumer insights, and interface with clients and other suppliers.

2. Provide management with timely Trade updates on New Entrants, Competitive Activities, Situational Analysis and other pertinent information

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Required language(s) and Dialect: English and Filipino (Tagalog)
  • Can deal with different types of person and can adapt well in changes.
  • At least 2 solid year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and internet
  • Possess above average Communication, Negotiation and Presentation Skills
  • Willing to work during weekends and holidays (when needed)
