Purpose of Role: Provides general oversight of all Manila site to ensure smooth operations, timely and accurate service delivery. The Manila office provides support for Engineering Services, Commercial Operations, Marketing, IT, FP&A, and Logistics.

This role will provide indirect support to the functions primarily overseeing workstreams, setting the strategy and vision, providing administrative support as well as serving as a mentor and a local escalation point.

This role does not have direct reports and will be required to influence the site without direct line management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Administration: Oversee day-to-day operations at the site, including facility management, procurement, and logistics. Implement and maintain efficient administrative processes to support the site's activities. Facilitate local site inductions for new employees. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at the site level. Budget management for site-related expenses. Continuous improvement initiatives to optimize site operations. Collaboration with other departments and cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Statutory Support: Stay updated on relevant labor and Finance laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in the Philippines. Work closely with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to statutory obligations. Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation as required by local authorities. Ensures Manila office is compliant (Finance, Safety, HR) with all company government regulations and submissions such as but not limited to business license, BIR, DOLE, SSS, Tax Consultants, Auditors etc. This may involve in-person visits to the relevant government offices
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee morale. Performance management and coaching for direct reports (if relevant). Organize team-building activities, events, and recognition programs. Act as a liaison between management and employees to address concerns and promote open communication.
  • Stakeholder Expectation Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders. Represent the company in meetings, forums, and other relevant events. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure alignment with company goals and values.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Management (preferred) with 7+ years of management experience, include project management exposure.
  • ROHQ company compliance requirements, include but not limited to attending to tax audits and submissions
  • Ability to influence without authority. Advanced communication and interpretative skills to contextualize complex results and concepts to senior leadership as well as other finance and operational teams
  • Expertise in SAP and Oracle is an advantage
  • Previous experience with applying lean/six sigma principles in a transactional environment and leading process improvement / transformation.
