Who we are:

For over 50 years, we have worked closely with investment and asset managers to become the world's leading provider of integrated investment management solutions. We are 2,800+ colleagues with a broad range of nationalities, educations, professional experiences, ages, and backgrounds in general.

SimCorp is an independent subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group. Following the recent merger with Axioma, we leverage the combined strength of our brands to provide an industry-leading, full, front-to-back offering for our clients, with SimCorp as the overarching company brand and Axioma as a key product brand.

SimCorp is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a culture where diverse perspectives and expertise are integrated in our everyday work. We believe in the continual growth and development of our employees, so that we can provide best-in-class solutions to our clients.

While striving to deliver client value, we believe it is vital to consider our people and our planet in every business decision we make. Acting responsibly is not optional. It is essential.

Why this role is important to us:

The Contract Manager (CM) is a key role in the Group Contract Management team, which is part of the Group Advisory and Support division. The CM supports all SimCorp offerings, including on-premise, SaaS, Professional Services and BPaaS. The CM is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing various contracts with clients, as well as providing legal advice and guidance on contract and commercial matters. The CM also ensures that the contracts are compliant with the law and the business objectives, and that SimCorp performs its obligations under the Contract Assurance & Performance framework.

The CM works closely with the Group Legal team, Customer Success Management, Service Delivery Management, Project Management Office, and other internal stakeholders to understand the business and technical requirements, and to align the contracts with the best practices and standards of SimCorp. The CM also collaborates with Client Services to monitor and optimize the commercial performance and quality of the contracts.

The CM is involved in the entire contract lifecycle, from the pre-contractual phase and support to Customer Success Management, to the onboarding project, to the contract change management, to the obligation management and quality assurance, to the exit handling. The CM also manages and maintains together with the team the contract repository and the contractual database, and supports the further implementation of contract management processes and relevant tools within SimCorp, including the upcoming Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Platform.

The CM is expected to have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The CM should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The CM should also have a high level of professionalism and integrity, and a customer-oriented and proactive attitude.

Group Contract Management's ways of working are in an agile manner under a SCRUM and OKR based framework to track and enable efficient and continued process improvement. The CM will be part of a self-organizing and cross-functional team that delivers value to the clients and the business.
