The Role: Senior Pricing Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to help us unlock further commercial value for our business.

What will you do?

The successful candidate will work with the Pricing Leader and Managers, sales teams and product managers (Offer Marketers), Finance and Country Leaders (BVP and CP) to determine optimal quote pricing by assessing all factors that would impact price or volume trade-offs such as competitive environments; product features and costs; brand attributes; product adoption curves. In addition will be monitoring current product/region discounting to identify optimization opportunities, work closely with sales leadership to make recommendations on pricing, promotions, and product bundles. Furthermore, will prepare LT-level reports of analysis and data; and work with senior management to develop business cases, make decisions in line with our corporate strategy, and drive the implementation of approved plans.

· Optimization of CCO Margin, DeltaP performance and revenue

· Execution of Special Price Approval Process

· Participate in the negotiations of Long-Term Pricing Agreements

· Ensure the daily tracking of the queue and quote turn-around time

· Build new processes from start to finish

· Document and improve current processes

· Initiate process improvement proposals to the stake holders

· Participates in all process improvement plans and implementation of the region

· Act as subject matter expert and Pricing Business Partner

· Manage internal and external customer escalations

· Act as backup to other analysts

· Ensure that the SLA commitment is being achieved

· Support countries on CPQ related issues

Secondary Functions:

· Work within the SE environment to affect change

· Conduct prompted and unprompted analyses in support of business partners when appropriate

· Develop new reports and enhance current ones to keep them in line with changing business needs and requests of business partners

· Create time efficient processes for quote review including analysis and reporting through automation

· Contribute to ad hoc analyses/reporting requests in support of business partners when appropriate

· Create pricing performance and execution dashboards using Tableau to be shared with different audiences

Main interactions:

Pricing Leader and Managers, Sales Teams, Offer Marketers and Product Managers, Finance, and Country Leaders (BVP and CP).

Key Success Factors:

· Close collaboration with Quotation Center Team for Quote requests and CPQ.

· Regular collaboration with Pricing Leaders, Sales Teams, Offer Marketers, and Country Leaders for Quote approvals and alignment.

Qualifications

Who would be successful?

Education: Bachelor's/College Degree

Experience: 1 - 2 years

· Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in sales/sales operations or pricing or data analytics

· Requires a strong aptitude for working with numbers

· Advanced Microsoft Excel capability is essential to this role

· Knowledge in CPQ, bFO Salesforce, Oracle/SAP, Tableau is a plus: to be put under Knowledge and Skills 2 – Desired

· Strong Mathematical and Statistical skills are a plus.

· Knowledge, Oracle/SAP, Tableau is a plus

· Product knowledge is a plus, but not compulsory

· Advanced Microsoft Excel capability is essential to this role

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· A positive can-do attitude is essential to success at Schneider Electric

· Must be willing to work on shifting schedule

· Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Must be able to learn new tools, software and processes

· Must be able to take direction, listen to needs of business managers, and interpret their needs to technical instructions

· Must be able to provide documentation and feedback on project request and communicate clearly any problems or obstacles

· Should be able to handle multiple projects at one time

· Candidate will be highly engaged with leadership team and will need to learn the basic business drivers of their area.

· Understanding of Sales process such as forecasting, invoicing, and quoting is
