Trade Marketing Officer

JOB SUMMARY:
Take ownership of, and manage, a customer management business process which ensures effective communication and liaison between Sales, Marketing and other departments in order to optimize key business opportunities.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Program Development
A. Establish channel strategies along with company's directions.
B. Prepare trade promotional plan in designated channels with critical customers.
C. Coordinate media placements, public relation programs, host events, and participate in all community events.
D. Check and analyze competitor activities or promotion.
Trade Execution
A. Head responsibility to manage and monitor Trade Marketing Investments (merchandising collaterals, DA, Gondola) as well as initiate execution.
B. Interact with Sales regarding deadlines / lead time required for promotions, pack / price changes, new products, etc in order to ensure effective implementation.
C. Spearhead program and activity implementation aligned with sales direction.
D. To ascertain new product launches, distribution tracking, secondary displays, planograms and etc.
Monitoring
A. Design and monitor a competitive activity feedback report to track frequency and types of promotions taking place in his/her area, documenting such activities for analysis, reporting and future referencing purposes.
B. Keep track, analyses and evaluate accounts' profitability. Identify customers who do not meet the company's guidelines and recommend action to improve level of requirements.
C. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and in-store promotions to determine whether these meet the Company' objectives.
D. Design and implement price surveys on selected brands to track and graph trends over periods of time, for purposes of recommending for pricing strategies based on information received.
E. Consolidate internal price control program for all products, implementing and administering pricing alignment.
F. Ensure all accounts to comply with the merchandising standards.
Coordinator
a. Responsible to the training of all coordinators & MDs in his/her area
Order & Sell-out Management
- Get P.O from the account as needed / required by Sales
- Acquire consolidated P.O report and submit to RGM/Sales
- Monitor sales off-take
- Assist in account negotiation (promotion, p.o, display request)
- Contact with the sales support department of Headquarters to provide delivery and data support
- Complete sales supports system
Reports Management
- Daily - Trade Reports
- Program Execution & Analysis (trade pictures)
- Competitor Activities
- Accounts Issues and Concerns
- Daily - Trade Activity
- Purchase Order from the account (as needed)
- Field Coaching and Training of coordinator (during work with) and MD (if available upon visit to the store)
- Weekly - Acquire consolidated report from coordinator
- Inventory / Delivery / Out of Stocks / Off-take Report
- Issues and concerns of the area
- Conduct weekly checkpoint meeting to all coordinators of his/her area
- Monthly
- Updates on all trade promotions (per account compliance, execution pictures)
- Promo analyses based on Promo / Activity Implementation - Analyse what went wrong and what went Right. Provide recommendations
- Sales off-take report analyses
- Conduct monthly meeting to all coordinators of his/her area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree preferably Marketing
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably with category experience in FMCG Market
- Competencies and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point=
