Job Description

This is a remote position.

The WordPress Web Development Manager will play a pivotal role in managing our web development projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, responsive WordPress websites. Your technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills will be essential in achieving our clients' digital marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of web developers, designers, and content creators to execute WordPress website projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, website requirements, and provide strategic web development solutions.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, ensuring they are mobile-responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to web development team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, plugins, and technologies to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of web development capabilities.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with clients regarding project timelines, milestones, and progress updates.
  • Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Implement performance optimization techniques, security measures, and regular updates to enhance website speed and security.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues that may arise during web development projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven 5+ years experience in WordPress web development, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Experience managing web development teams and projects, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and customizations.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with industry trends and emerging web technologies.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality.
