The primary function of this role is to manage the recording of supplier invoices for direct materials and check requests without purchase orders. This includes monitoring and updating the fixed assets ledger, pre-payments, input VAT, and conducting account analysis. The individual ensures the completeness of supplier invoices, proper departmental and account charging, and correct application of withholding tax rates.

Duties involve recording supplier invoices and check requests in SAP and forwarding them to the Disbursements Analyst. The role requires validating and posting entries for invoices related to fixed asset acquisitions and coordinating with various departments on invoice matters. Maintenance of supplier records in SAP and preparation of journal vouchers related to prepayments, depreciation, accrual of benefits, and other expenses are also key responsibilities.

Additional tasks include preparing reconciliations of supplier statements versus book balances, generating reports for management, and providing schedules and analyses for auditors. The individual ensures the accuracy of monthly aging accounts payable balances against the General Ledger and prepares summaries for VAT returns. They also handle other assignments as required by their superior.
