The Compliance Specialist role acts as a support role during the credentialing process to ensure travelers (healthcare staff) are compliant throughout their entire assignment and meets client's and Joint Commission standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Process employment verification for travelers through third party vendors and/or calling facilities to obtain dates ofemployment Process extensions in Target Recruit to ensure travelers are compliant throughout their assignment extension Run expiring items report in Target Recruit and follow up with travelers to make sure all compliance is up to date
and all items are cleared with various facilitiesConduct weekly traveler audits for the credentialing team to ensure all credentialing items are on file for Joint Commission Process OIG/GSA and upload results to Target Recruit and various client portalsRun background checks through Universal, PreSearch, and other third-party vendors depending on the client’s
background check requirementSet traveler up for medical items on Universal and send order form on behalf of the Credentialing Specialist Other duties as assigned
