Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Oversee and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.Conduct periodic physical counts of inventory and reconcile with system records.Ensure proper documentation and accuracy in inventory movements.

Auditing & Reconciliation:

Perform regular audits of inventory records to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records, investigating and resolving issues as needed.

Encoding & Reporting:

Enter inventory transactions and adjustments into the accounting system with high accuracy.

System Management:

Utilize inventory management software to track and report on inventory levels and movements.Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory flow and reporting.

 

Qualifications:

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in inventory accounting or a related field.Experience in auditing, reconciliation, encoding, and using inventory management systems.Warehouse background is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
