Senior Key Accounts Executive

MAIN PURPOSE
The Senior Key Accounts Executive leads the development and execution of business building strategies in assigned retail partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This includes managing key accounts, partnering with business managers to arrive at solid trade marketing strategies and plans, defining strategic brand and SKU assortment as well as appropriate planogram and merchandising to have a strong representation in these strategic beauty channels.
- Negotiates for trade margins ensuring that all components of the value chain are maximized.
- Prepares bottom-up sales forecast as input to Annual Budget Planning.
- Works with the company’s accredited manpower agency in managing a team of merchandisers.
- Co-champions monthly cycle meetings with accredited manpower agency to align on sales targets, strategies, and plans.
- Delivers the monthly sell-in and sell-out targets of assigned retail partners.
- Leads joint business planning as well as conducts monthly business reviews with retail partners’ key decision makers.
- Champions healthy account P&Ls to ensure viability and sustainability of short and long-term programs and initiatives.
- Works with the brand team in the planning and execution of all activations, promotions, and initiatives specific to retail partners.
- Provides timely feedback on developments in the channel as well as competitor initiatives.
- Leads corporate partnerships (drive to store, off counter events, wholesale deals) that will play a crucial role in total company growth and gap up sales achievement.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Abide by and perform to the best of your abilities all functions, duties and responsibilities to be assigned by the Company in due course.
b) Comply with the orders and instructions given from time to time by the Company through its authorized representatives.
c) Perform any other administrative or non-administrative duties as assigned by any representative of the Company from time to time either through direct written order or by oral assignment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably business related
- At least 3 years Sales or Key Account Management role in consumer goods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Works independently and a confident decision-maker
- Proactive and understands the always changing retail landscape
- An excellent team player
