The Risk Management Associate contributes and supports the Risk Management Head in the
implementation of risk management and compliance to IT General Controls (ITGC) across ICT (Information,
Communication, Technology and Transformation) organization for all its required compliance, risks and
other-related risks that may hinder the organization from achieving its objectives.
The role manages and coordinates operations (BAU), programs and projects that would enable the organization, its leaders and personnel to effectively identify, analyze and evaluate risks and to select and implement methods to handle and manage risk exposures which may result in human, physical or financial loss to the organization.
Moreover, it also manages and coordinates activities related to internal/external audit engagements and
the audit responses/action plans to address findings and observations. The role also manages and
coordinates the development, implementation and maintenance of the ICT Resiliency and Continuity
Management, ICT Disaster Recovery Management and ICT Emergency/Crisis Response Management.
Qualifications:
Must be a Bachelor's degree holder in a related 4-year or 5-year degree course such as: Computer Science, Engineering, or ManagementWith at least 2 years of work experience on IT Control or IT Risk Management, IT Auditing, and Information SecurityHas good understanding of the Risk Management framework and processesHas good understanding of business and ICT domainsHas basic knowledge in industry regulatory environment and the Data Privacy ActHas good knowledge and understanding of IT Governance and Management, Risk Management, Business Continuity practices and methods such as COBIT, ISO 20000, RiskIT, ISO 27001, ISO 35000, IT-Grundschutz, PMBOK, etc.Has ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. The role also requires the ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organizationHas high degree of analytical skills to be able to assess the impact of risks on ICT strategy and operationsPossesses high standards of personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
