Job description

Duties and responsibilities of Front Office Associate

Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stayDetermines a guest's reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stayVerifies the guest's method of payment and follows established credit-checking proceduresWork closely with the housekeeping department in keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair workMust be sales minded, presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choicesFollow up and follow through guests' concerns to concerned departmentsReports any unusual occurrences or requests to the management through supervisorPerforming cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, rising paid out'sMaintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk areaAssists in training new colleagues in performing job duties based on company standards and policies/procedures

Requirements and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, or any related field is preferred.Hands on experience with office machines (for example fax, printer etc.)Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)Critical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGreat interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer-oriented mindestMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksAmenable to work in Angeles City, Pampanga
