Area Sales Manager

Job Purpose
The job holder undertakes the role of ensuring the proper and effective operation of a store. Overseeing the day-to-day work and operations of CSA and ensuring achievement of 100% target. Which includes Area Management, Sales Management, People Management, and other Administrative Functions. An Area Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned territory which includes multiple doors/stores. Ensures that Sales Associates are updated with the promotions, brands & marketing events. Monitors stocks of the stores & inventory checking. Leads the team in achieving positive growth & reaching a wider customer base. Works indirectly with the Department managers in ensuring that promotional events are properly executed. May assist the HR in the hiring process as well as performs administrative functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop & Maintain efficient Operations Activities to ensure that daily operations are within the Standards ProceduresDevelop Plans & Implement promotions and appropriate strategies for all assigned DoorsConduct Store visits to ensure product availability, trade hygiene, completeness of product range & the manner of promo implementation of CSAsAssess the current & future potential of the area considering the unpredictable setbacks or opportunities during the "new normal" business settingEnsures work progress of staff by monitoring/ activities, evaluating performance, enforcing discipline when necessary, initiating career development plan, and that Sales Associates are in compliance with the policies and procedures of the companyUp to date with market conditions and competitionRegular communication with Sr. SOM, SOM to ensure that all policies, programs, and goals are achieved, and all issues raised concerning service, quality, and value should be timely addressed or raised to the Sr. SOMMonitor audit results and cost variances per account and check that quotas are met.Implement efficient inventory management in the business unit aligned with the annual stock projectionOversee sales and operations issues such as fraud, non-compliance, complaints, safety & security, and other sales-related concernsQUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any business-related course with at least three (3) years of industry-related and function-related work experienceProven experience as an area managerAbility to devise relevant and innovative strategies.Communication skills, both written and verbal.Leadership, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.Capacity to lead with poise and conviction.
