 The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate whose core responsibilities include managing AR and AP and day-to-day bookkeeping.  As an Accounting Associate, you will also be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in a variety of roles which would include audit and tax work.  This role is a hybrid role and requires you to be in the office at least 2 days a week in our Makati Office.

 About You

To be successful as an Accounting Associate, you should have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.

 What You'll Do

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including, but not limited to, accounts payable and accounts receivable processAnswer vendor inquiries and send collection emailsPrepare Bank ReconciliationsSupport month-end close processPrepare tax reportsAssist with auditor and tax workPerform limited treasury functions

 Qualifications

Proven bookkeeping experience (at least 2 years) and total finance and accounting experience of 4-6 yearsBachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or any related fieldCPA is preferred, but not requiredExperience with AR and AP process Highly proficient in ExcelExperience in Computerized Accounting Systems (CAS) such as NetSuite and Bill.com preferred, but not requiredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsDetail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environmentStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsMust be willing to work on a mid-shift schedule (4PM to 1AM Philippine Time)Must be willing to work onsite in our Makati Office at least 2 to 3 times per week
